A few days ago, I couldn't help myself but indulge into something I haven't done in a long time - spend some money on good perfumes. It all started after I smelled my sister's J'Adore and we went to Sephora, so she could buy makeup. I sniffed a few perfumes but the first one I smelled stayed with me the longest - the plain Vera Wang. I went home and purchased a bottle from PerfumeSpot.com. In order to get the free shipping, I had to buy something else, but what? They were out of J'Adore, so I scanned the best reviewed ones and picked one blindly. Burberry. It was a total blind act, I had no idea how it smelled and if I'll like it. I tend to like most scents but yet too many are too sweet and that's not for me.
I got the package today and, even if it didn't score a 10, the Burberry is a very interesting scent. I certainly don't regret the bold splurge ($50 on an unknown scent is a lot for my budget) and actually feel good going for the unknown. Not many times a day I can do that.
So now I'm all equipped with the fresh aromas and can't wait to hear what my boyfriend thinks. They make me feel girly and lovey, like the pretty women in their commercials.
