I got a genuine bolt of nostalgia and laughter today. My brother-in-law dug out a link to the opening song of the cartoon Maya the Bee. This was a wildly popular cartoon in Europe when I was growing up (I think it was Czech or Polish) and because of my name, Maya the Bee was a long-lasting nickname I had. I loved the cartoon although now I don't remember much about it other than Maya and Willie the drone. It may explain my current fascination with bees and honey, and my boyfriend's current nickname for me (Biene). One of these days I plan to try and dig out and download the series. I love it how everything is available online these days!
